4-H is the nation’s largest positive youth development and mentoring organization. It has life-changing programs that are available through 4-H clubs, camps, afterschool and school enrichment programs.
The goal at Breitling is to make students aware of farms and what comes from them because we are in a farming area of the state. There are competitions where students can build with Legos, recycled materials, budget shopping, and a chick competition.
This year, students have looked at skins and skulls of animals native to our state, as well as studied about water and the cycle it takes in different areas.
Breitling's 4th and 5th grade students attend 4-H meetings once a month. It's a great time of learning and discovery for everyone!
